Although the game did have very solid DLCs in the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions, The Witcher 3 players on PC can now expand on the existing game themselves through modding, which is just one of the many wonders of playing on PC. Radish Modding Tools allow for more complex mods to be made, such as player-made quests.

Photo: memrRecently, a modder (or possibly modders) named memr has released a new project called the, specific to The Witcher 3. The modding tool is described as a “collection of in-game mods and external tools aimed to enable the creation of new quests by mod authors.”The Witcher 3 is fast approaching nearly four years since it was released, so the modding scene that was popular back then isn’t as active now. Even still, most of the mods released back then were focused on improving on already existing systems like the combat, or just mere quality of life changes. This is disappointing when compared to the official mod tools released for The Witcher and The Witcher 2.memr’s Radish Modding Tools aren’t quite as powerful or flexible as something that would come from the developer, CD Projekt RED, but in this case, it is still better than nothing. Memr has stated that, “Although only a smallish subset of all possible features is supported it.should. allow to create non-trivial, story-based quests - just don't expect clicky-pointy-done workflows.”The Radish Modding Tools is still in the middle of development, but its release could signify new and exciting things for The Witcher 3’s modding community.
